SteamBans.com -scanner- is a free service that server admins can sign up to in order to protect their server from banned steam accounts. By signing up to the scanner the admin allows the scanner to ban according to steambans rules on the same level as any other person that has admin to the server they own. At any point in time the server admins can chose to discontinue the service and the scanner will no longer force bans on the servers. SteamBans.com bans accounts and not users, the user that owns the account is responsible for whoever is using the account. If SteamBans.com can sufficiently link the account to the evidence and it is the belief among 3 admins that cheats have been used, the account is banned. Banned accounts can within an 8 week period challenge the ban through the ban protest, when this period is over the ban is considered final and without retraction.
As a visitor to our website, you acknowledge and agree that any reliance on or use by you of any information available on this website shall be entirely at your own risk.
